Parent, family, and community involvement in a child's education has proven to be a key factor in positive student outcomes.  Students experience more academic success, improved attendance, and overall increased enjoyment of school when families are actively engaged with their student's education.

In order to encourage these positive relationships, Piedmont Elementary School offers a variety of ways for families to become involved with their student's education.  Some of the opportunities include the WATCH D.O.G.S. program, Helping Hands, Homeroom Parents Fundraising, PTO, and Teacher Appreciation.  Parents and families are encouraged to contact the office with any additional questions about family involvement.
