New Beginnings!

We are excited to welcome our new staff members to the Piedmont Elementary School family.  Please take a moment to get to know them a little bit better!

Laura Kishman, Kindergarten Teacher:  Laura previously worked as a Kindergarten Teacher in California.  She is excited to be back in her home state of Oklahoma and to be a part of the Piedmont community!

Robin Munger, First Grade Teacher:  Robin previously worked as a Kindergarten Teacher in Yukon at Shedeck Elementary School.  We are excited that she is joining us in first grade!

Melanie Shearer, Paraprofessional:  Melanie is joining us as a paraprofessional.  She has subbed at our site consistently over the past year.  She is a caring and considerate individual that will always do what is right for our students.  We are thrilled that she has joined the PES Family!

Linda Key, Interventionist:  Linda previously worked as an interventionist in Bartlesville for a school that was a high needs school site.  She developed and implemented both reading and math interventions. She is excited to be in the Piedmont School District and closer to her own grandbabies!

Erin Harp, Kindergarten Teacher:  Erin spent the past Spring filling in for Mrs. Miller who was on her maternity leave.  She did a fantastic job with our students and helped organize a successful Super Kids Day.  She has been a great addition to our staff!

Ashley Waddell, Speech Pathologist:  Ashley worked in the district last year as the Speech Path at the High School and Primary.  She is a consummate professional and quickly builds positive relationships with her students.  She is a perfect fit to the PES family!

Nadia DeKoch, Assistant Principal:  Nadia is joining us from the Middle School where she was the Assistant Principal.  She is passionate about meeting our students’ academic needs and getting to know each student personally.  She loves the Piedmont Community and has been a great fit with our staff!

Deavon Guertler, 4th Grade Teacher:  Deavon previously taught 3rd and 4th grade in Putnam City.  She was a team leader and chair of the hospitality team.  She is a committed teacher and wants to make a difference in her students’ lives.  We are excited that she is part of the PES family!
